Instead of "Caribbean Queen," do you hear Billy Ocean sing "Carah Buh-hehn" queen?

I do.

And though I like Ocean, I've never liked this song because of how I hear it.

Only one person in my life has agreed with me when I've mentioned it.

    And I don't blame you one bit. I really like Ocean's voice. I think it's time I let go. And I think posting my question was my first step. In comparison to a myriad of singers whom I let bother me (I posted two of them somewhere on the site last night), Ocean wins every time. Why do I let it bug me? He's a great singer and it's a good song.  :)
