Seems to me I have but I cannot recall a particular incident.
That sparrow must have been a military service pilot in its previous life, those guys have been known to swoop their aircraft under a bridge even knowing that is a violation of rules.
6 deer crossing the road at night, but only one stopped to stare at the "pretty headlights". (maybe the rest missed the "deer in the headlights" meeting) A squirrel calmly getting out of the way of an oncoming car. (must be on Xanax)
Yes. I felt my cat run past me followed by a bunch of birds. He kept running and I watched as these birds continued flying after him while taking turns diving into the cat's back. I did not know what was the deal. Then I seen it. In the cat's mouth...he had a small bird. He finally dropped the bird and ran under the porch. The birds flew to the small bird and eventually they all flew off together.
Those birds worked together and saved the small bird.
I remember a bunch of sparrows across the street harassing and swooping at a dog. He jumped up and snatched one and smashed it to the ground. I guess they were 'playing sparrow'.
I've seen that happen and it's happened to me with animals that I've managed to somehow straddle and not smash. Recently it was a chipmunk. I saw it scampering into the ditch via my side mirror and was so relieved!
I'm not sure if anything I've seen is unusual or not. I observe animals quite a lot and they're almost always fascinating to me. I've had enough interesting encounters with animals that I guess I've come to expect something magical.
I recently took a video of an eastern cottontail washing its face. It was so cute. I've also seen them take dust-baths.
Crows are very cool to watch and to 'talk' to. They're highly intelligent and they get to know their neighborhoods and the people and other creatures in it.
A koala drinking out of the cat's water dish. Found him in our front yard, disoriented and clearly suffering from heat exhaustion. We didn't approach him closely enough to spook him, just close enough to put the cat's water dish within his line of sight. The word means "no drink", but this little guy didn't get the memo.
