    Ha ha!  No.  Sixty-year-old-plus coaches will not be in the same physical condition as their players.  Expecting reasonable age-appropriate body fitness can be somewhat expected by those who choose to judge on this subject.    It matters not to me, actually.

    The physical trainers...yeah. I knew the trainer for the Cincinnati Reds. He was in excellent shape.

    Unrealistic. Joe Paterno was coaching the Nittany Lions into his 80s.

    Most coaches are retired athletes. They retire because they're old as dirt and their bodies can't do what they used to.

    Most athletes don't last past their 30s, due to injuries and strain on their bodies from the sport.
    That's part of why their salaries are so ridiculous.
