Are you old enough to spend time reminiscing about all the events of your past?

How elderly should a person be to be suitably qualified to reminisce about their past?

    I believe I am an I have many events about which to reminisce.  I think 5-10 years after an event is a sufficient time to be able to look back at something.

      Technically, either remembering or reminiscing about one’s past is something that a person can do at any time in his or her life. The question becomes what are the true differences between remembering and reminiscing? Does a certain amount of time have to transpire before remembering events is really reminiscing about events?

    To me, the main difference is that reminiscing is positive by nature - thinking back fondly is how I'd describe it. Remembering, not necessarily so. 

    It's like I think you're my teacher and I'm trying to get extra credit or something.
