Do you feel like sharing the name of a musician/singer/group/etc. who has yet to musically disappoint you?

Among many others, here's one for me:

Lindsey Buckingham  (especially his solo work)

His latest album is another great one for me. Have been listening a lot since purchasing it last week.

Barbra Streisand has never disappointed.  I could name 100 who never have.  Kenny Rogers is another.  When I say never disappoint, I mean not only the artist but the song itself.

I might have many musicians for me, too.

Phew... John Martyn? I don't know - I'm sure everyone can disappoint if one looks far enough, haha.

I don't think I had heard of him. But a long time ago (a week or so) without signing onto the site, I saw your answer here and I have listened to maybe three songs over the week. Boy, I like him!!

    Glad to hear it :)

I believe some fans begrudged him the transition to a more electric sound (there are always those who do), but the things he could perform with it also show why.

I like his understated strength and overall appealing-to-me singing voice and music.
Good to see you. Hope you're good.  :)

Earth, Wind & Fire!  Everything these guys touch (or vocalize) turns to gold!  Even their "bad" songs are good!
Another exceptional one is Crosby, Stills & Nash

I have never heard a Pet Clark song that disappointed me. Nor Roy Orbison.

The Oak Ridge Boys. I love every song of theirs that I've heard.

I don't think I know a lot of their stuff but I do like "Elvira" a lot.

Haven't heard a Queen song I've disliked. My other favourite artists have all bombed at least once. Icehouse's Big Wheel album was a complete waste of time, as were Pink Floyd's Animals and Ummagumma. The Beatles never did a bad entire album, but more than once left a bad track on one, particularly when under the influence of "mood altering substances". John was often tripping so hard that he was on another planet entirely, and Paul was blazed - you can practically smell it in the "English garden" sequence of I Am The Walrus. Revolution 9 made no sense at all, even backwards.

    Interesting stuff here, thanks.

As much as I've liked "Bohemian Rhapsody," I'm just sick and tired of hearing it. Too much of a good thing for me. No doubt it's a great song.

Yet, I never tire of "Fat Bottomed Girls," my favorite Queen song.
