Yes I do. Even though it was a important meeting neither one of the males bothered to wear a tie that would flatter their suits. Cheers!

So the missing ties are the only thing that bothered you?

Well I'm not very fussy about the dress that the woman in the top right corner is wearing. It seems a little too much of a Harper Valley PTA look. I'm just goofing around because I don't really know what the New York mandates are but I will google it later.  Cheers!

it's the same here too. When the pandemic started and they were closing stores and forcing people to stay inside, the PM was going in a skiing trip with friends and family

  • Because you mentioned that they're politicians, the first thing I noticed is that the politicians aren't wearing masks but the children are.  There were a lot of politicians in my own country who violated their own pandemic rules.  Most of the politicians who broke their own rules were all members of one party, which was also the same party that proposed the harshest pandemic measures.  That party or those politicians aren't the ones who are in power where I live, so there's only one COVID-19 hypocrite for me to vote against.  He won't stand for re-election until next year.

Yes. We have many politicians who do not want to follow the covid rules they themselves passed.  Gov of NY being the newest example, she passed mandatory mask mandates weeks ago.

I presume you are referring to them not wearing masks although all the children are masked.  These look like young children.  If they are under 5, they can't get vaccinated and if they are, they would only have had one shot.

Your idol, Donald Trump, his spawn and any number of Republicans don't mask up either, so why are you making this a political issue? This post was edited by SpunkySenior at January 26, 2022 5:04 PM MST

This the Gov who just weeks ago passed universal mask mandate for schools and all childcare facilities.  This mandate is to apply to ALL staff and Visitors REGARDLESS of "vaccine" status.

This is yet another example of a politician in power (normally a Dem) passing restrictions for covid and then deciding those same restrictions do not apply to themselves.  Hypocrisy. This post was edited by my2cents at January 26, 2022 1:58 PM MST

And we all know that there is absolutely no hypocrisy among Republicans.  How nice it must be to see things so very clearly.

Jane informed me that this was in the summer and Coumo had lifted covid regulations.  But still if the adults did not need to be masked, the children should not have been forced to mask.  This post was edited by my2cents at January 27, 2022 4:46 AM MST

Since you were wrong about the adults wearing the masks, how do you know the children were forced?  You don't, so why don't you do some research before you post something?

Look at the kids...they are not even smiling for the picture.  Look at the masks they are all the same one provided by the school of course.  I have young grandkids...youngest is now 5. Trust me, no little kid wants to wear those things especially if the adults are not.

Don't project what you think or want on the kids.  I have nine great nieces and nephews who all understand the need for them to be masked up.  They are all under 9 with one exception and she's 11.

If this were a recent photo, it might appear that adults were not following mask mandates. But this image was originally posted in July of 2021 at about the same time then Governor Cuomo dropped the statewide mask mandate in schools and shortly after he had lifted all covid restrictions. So, Hochul was not governor and there was no mask requirement for the officials. This was clearly a preschool setting and other photos in the same Facebook post show workers wearing masks, so they probably had internal rules in place. In my opinion, the preschool should have asked visitors to follow the policy, but it is not hypocritical for public officials to not wear masks when the general public is not required to. Internet postings can often be misleading and probably should not be taken at face value until checked for accuracy.
