What does 'knowing something about business' mean?
I 'went into business' one time knowing nothing about business. What I learned is that I should have learned something about business before I went into business even if it was a small time business.
I would think it means having knowledge about the success and failure rates of the business you intend to enter into. Knowing something about finances (most businesses fail due to a lack of start-up capital), knowing how to negotiate contracts relating to your business customers. There are any number of courses, some of which are free or cost little, to take to learn the basics of business in general and more specifically for your chosen one.
