What would be a way to set the Verizon iPhone screen time-out?

Okay, I got just that one solved, & don’t know if I have to reset after doing that to complete that setting, but hope it will stay on ‘5 min’ or on ‘never’ (5 min is plenty).
And now can you tell how to set the Verizon iPhone‘s screen to just stay on the same brightness?
When I move this phone to the room with some sunlight, then to the other room with no sunlight(@ day time), then this phone‘s screen sometimes go from real dim, way over to almost too bright-it does this sometimes.
Then I would just set the brightness myself-manually instead.

There wasn’t anything important in there. Let’s see how many unread messages you have.  I bet it’s more than I have, lol.

See where to set the True Tone in here, then see if it would be right in between here:

Oh no!  You have an older model than I have!  I have iPhone 12, so I would just turn off the True Tone, which you don’t have, so I have no idea what you need to do.  Sry

And any other settings to change in just this section that would/might happen to get/kick a (brightness lock) setting in?
I see that you don’t have any other idea now, but I just would really want it to have that brightness setting, or maybe see if My2cents may have any other idea-later?

    Let’s try it this way.

    Step 1:

    Click on Settings.

    Step 2:

    Click on Accessibilty:

    Step 3:

Click on Display & Text Size.

    Step 4:

    It’s on the bottom.

    Step 5:

    Turn off Auto-Brightness.

I hope that helps. This post was edited by Livvie at February 15, 2022 7:28 PM MST

Okay, I’ll see if that works now!
Do I need to reset after setting that, like restart the phone after that or something?

No, you don’t have to restart or reset the phone.  All you have to do is turn off the settings you don’t want and back out of the menu.

Here’s the list of what else I want-to be done on my iPhone:
Downloading YouTube videos from the phone.
PC games to download from phone to a computer.
    Internet connection from game App.
Internet sites with a page loading slow.
    PC games-cellar data-additional fees.
