No Super Bowl in my house.  At all.  No commericals or fake entertainment.  No corporate football either.  They are not worthy.

Often, it's just a good, competitive game that doesn't call for overthinking it like that. You seem rather angry about it.

OK, but why take such a judgmental tone?

During the first half of the game, I was already logged onto AnswerMug, which I
glanced at it every now and then. I was more focused on the game than this website. By the way, I had no dog in the fight this year; I wasn’t rooting for either team in particular.

I have NEVER been a fan nor a proponent of the pop-culture halftime shows, because in my opinion, that is not what football is all about, so I have never watched even one of them.

For today’s halftime show, by the way, my wife loves that crap, I went upstairs while she watched it, I turned on the other television, flipped channels for a moment and settled on a “Seinfeld” rerun. I returned downstairs when the halftime show was over and I was just in time to see the cheating first play touchdown by Cincinnati (face mask penalty that went “unnoticed” by officials).

You and I saw it the same way.

The coincidence is that earlier that day, 7 am, the news program “CBS Sunday Morning” had a segment that included some history of bad officiating in the 2020 Rams/Saints conference championship game. There was a blatant and obvious pass interference penalty by the Rams that no referee saw, or maybe the referee(s) intentionally failed to see it.

I was rooting for the Bengals. But there was no denying that play. I was surprised the Rams did not challenge the play. (Maybe they could not I know NFL has some crazy rules on some things.)

Lol, good point. I have to remain vigilant at all times just in case there’s some activity in Minnesota that gets me closer to my goal there.

I watched it. But was not impressed.  It was not the worst half time I have seen. That title belongs to Paul McCartney.  He was punishment for the wardrobe malfunction.

I didn't watch any part of the Super Bowl - I have no interest in football and even less interest in hip hop.  There weren't any Budweiser Clydesdale commercials either, so no reason at all to tune in.

Thanks.  TV Line listed the best and worst ads and this one was mentioned in neither category.
