During the first half of the game, I was already logged onto AnswerMug, which I
glanced at it every now and then. I was more focused on the game than this website. By the way, I had no dog in the fight this year; I wasn’t rooting for either team in particular.
I have NEVER been a fan nor a proponent of the pop-culture halftime shows, because in my opinion, that is not what football is all about, so I have never watched even one of them.
For today’s halftime show, by the way, my wife loves that crap, I went upstairs while she watched it, I turned on the other television, flipped channels for a moment and settled on a “Seinfeld” rerun. I returned downstairs when the halftime show was over and I was just in time to see the cheating first play touchdown by Cincinnati (face mask penalty that went “unnoticed” by officials).

You and I saw it the same way.
The coincidence is that earlier that day, 7 am, the news program “CBS Sunday Morning” had a segment that included some history of bad officiating in the 2020 Rams/Saints conference championship game. There was a blatant and obvious pass interference penalty by the Rams that no referee saw, or maybe the referee(s) intentionally failed to see it.

Lol, good point. I have to remain vigilant at all times just in case there’s some activity in Minnesota that gets me closer to my goal there.

I didn’t notice them.
