    I guess we could make bird stew with the insects, kill 'em off at an even pace. Throw in some variety of veggies too, 'course.

    I have inadvertently inhaled a fly or three. Witchetty grubs (larvae of the bogong moth) are delicious cooked. Some folks, mostly native Australians, prefer them raw, but I have always broiled them over a camp-fire on the rare occasions I've eaten them.
