Very easy; just use a huge magnet to pick up the stack of steel needles and the stalk of hay will be left behind.

Good premise, but there’s also the possibility that a stalk of hay might be so tangled in the needles that it might not fall out

However, I wonder if by the same token, it could theoretically be just as easy to find a needle in a haystack by using a magnet, correct?

I had everything all nicely figured out and you come and muck it up! Just burn the hay then and the needle will fall out intact.

LOL ... I was thinking the same thing, for both situations.

(Failure to capitalize the first word of the sentence.)

Why should one letter get to be glorified over the others simply because it comes first in a sentence?  By doing this, are we not helping to create arrogant letters?  "I'm first so I'm a capital; the rest of you are beneath me!"  Shouldn't all letters be equal?  Why, without the other letters the first one in a sentence would be nothing.  It’s not as if any letter can form a sentence all by itself.  We've already created one arrogant letter - "I".  It thinks that whenever it’s by itself it must be capitalized.   Do we really want more letters like this?

If you lose a piece of hay in a stack of pine needles, best just to go out to the barn and get yourself another piece of hay.
