      Folks, an oft-repeated side note: it’s only fair to point out that she neglected to drop by the Randy D ranch and say hello when she was in San Diego.

      (No, I’m not bitter.)

    Not yet. But i plan to travel one day.

    right now my situation suck, because I'm followed by a psychiatrist and i live in a special place. I cant do my own will; like i cant quit that place. Because im on a special welfare program, and i gain lot of money every month, but since i live in a appartment i have bills to pay. So i really cant save lot of money.

    If i could go back as homeless , at still i could make lot more each month.

    My only freedom would be to getting a job to make money;

    Because i want to save maybe 4000 canadian $ to travel to another country.

    also i have my driving license, and if i had 3500 $ i'd buy a car. I could always go to USA by car too . But im taking my time

    Not really, and not world-famous by any stretch of the imagination. Unless Wales, Australia, or Virginia are world-famous. This post was edited by Zack at March 28, 2022 11:37 AM MDT

    Ithaca is famous for Taughannock Falls, the highest waterfall east of the Rocky Mountains, and as the place where Ezra Cornell founded both Cornell University and Western Union. Also for the Ithaca Gun Company, one of the largest gun manufacturers in the US. New Haven is famous for Yale University, phenomenal pizza, and as the place where Walter Camp invented American football and Eli Whitney invented interchangeable parts for manufacturing as well as his famous cotton gin.

    Who in the world has not heard of Cornell and Yale universities, especially with their campuses in foreign countries, Western Union, American football, and Eli Whitney?

    But you've heard of Western Union. It was founded by Ezra Cornell in Ithaca.

    Yes but not the town it was founded in.
    Western Union is world famous but not the town.

    But it's more renowned that Branson, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg as the home of a world class research university that is especially famous for astronomy (Carl Sagan), animal and plant sciences, hotel administration, industrial and labor relations, veterinary medicine, and other fields. Most college-educated people in the US and Canada have heard of the 8 Ivy League institutions and their locations. This post was edited by Stu Spelling Bee at March 29, 2022 5:25 AM MDT

    Yet I had not heard the name of the town.

    You have heard of Branson (listed in top 15 most visited in US)  Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge .

    Most people in the country/world are not ivy league.

    I've been to Los Angeles but not New York.  Too many bad things can happen to you when you go to New York.
