Why would Putin rock the boat when Trump was already steering it in the Kremlin’s preferred direction? Putin wanted to undermine the NATO alliance, and Trump undermined the NATO alliance. Putin wanted to weaken the E.U., and Trump made little effort to express his disdain for the E.U. Putin wanted to help authoritarians, and Trump cozied up to authoritarians. Putin wanted to hurt Ukraine, and Trump launched an extortion scheme that threatened to hurt Ukraine. Putin wanted to weaken the U.S. political system, and Trump was unnervingly aggressive in trying to weaken the U.S. political system. Cheers and happy weekend!

Really, Trump  issued sanctions on Russia. Trump stopped their pipeline.  Trump strengthened NATO....by forcing the other countries to do their agreed upon part.
EU is about trade deals etc...Trump put America First as any President is supposed to do. Trump is the President who armed Ukraine....Obama/Biden gave them blankets. 

Biden gave them  the go ahead to do their pipeline.  Biden is still using Putin to negotiate with Iran.   Even after Iran bombed an US embassy.   Biden forecasts weakness and confusion wherever he goes.  And the world is taken notice. Trump’s policy on Russia sanctions was an elaborate ruse, designed to project toughness while actually doing little to follow through. The reality is that Trump, far from taking a tough line, has proactively undermined sanctions from Day One of his term in the White House.

When Donald Trump signed into law sanctions from the U.S. Congress against companies involved in constructing a new gas pipeline between Russia and Germany analysts said the Trump administration dithered too long for these sanctions to stop the project’s completion and next year it will start pumping gas.

Trump did not get NATO countries to pay more.
 
Obama gave the Ukraine $120 million in security assistance  and had pledged an additional $75 million worth of equipment including UAVs, counter-mortar radars, night vision devices and medical supplies, according to the Pentagon’s Defense Security Cooperation Agency.  That assistance also included some 230 armored Humvee vehicles

Trump did not undermine sanctions that HE put on....
Trump was the most aggressive POTUS towards Russia since Reagan.   Sanctions, tariffs,  kicking them out of the US etc. There is a reason Trump is the only one Putin did not invade under.

Obama did not arm the Ukrainians.  I am sure he sent money.....just as I am sure Hunter, Kerry, Romney and Pelosi's son all got the jobs for doing nothing for Ukraine gas companies.  And of course let's not forget 10% for the Big Guy.  (Gee, I wonder who that is?)  Just as most of the billions we are sending now will get laundered back to the world's crooked politicians.  Ukraine is their cookie jar and they cannot let that go away.
