    I don't know if he is a genius ... but he seems to be very market savy.
    Most Microsoft products were actually invented by someone else, and bought out by Microsoft.
    EG: most Excel features came from Lotus.  GUI was invented by Apple.

    He's certainly a slick operator, given that he got away cold with stealing the entire Windows concept from Apple (who didn't invent it either, but at least Wozniak PAID Xerox for it).
    Word is also a dumbed down version of WordPerfect, and Excel of Lotus 123.
