Would you set yourself on fire to bring attention to the climate crisis?

On Friday a man died after he set himself on fire in front of the Supreme Court in an apparent Earth Day protest against climate change. Friends of the man are saying that it was a deeply fearless act of compassion to bring attention to climate crisis. I don't see and think it was an act of stupidly. Cheers!

    There is a million better ways to bring enlightenment to the climate crisis. I think the guy actually hurt the climate - he used gas to set him self on fire , the chopper that air lifted him used fuel and there were probably 50 cop cars that used fuel on the scene. Cheers!     Let's see....

    Climate crisis is caused from burning fossil fuels.  So to bring attention to the problem he "accelerated" the problem.   Now they have to clean up 
    his "carbon footprint" (and those footprints don't come out of a sidewalk easily).

    If he was trying to be the candle on earth's b-day cake... well, the earth got its wish.
