Did you see any news about a man who set himself on fire in front of the Supreme Court Building?

I didn't. If the news showed it, it must have been a ten second segment that was not repeated. Oh, I did notice five minute segments three days in a row about Johnny Depp and his lawsuit. That's pretty important stuff.

No, but I avoid the news for the most part.

I don't even know about Johnny Depp!

Yes, I heard about it.  What a waste of expensive gas.  Did he really think he was important enough that ending his life that way would make a difference? Maybe back in the day it would have but this is 2022, things have changed.  He should have had Kim Kardashian make a statement, more people would have listened.

I find your question description more meaningful than if I heard of the story.

Your question itself reminded me of this scene in the original "The Omen" ( a powerfully scary movie for me - - with a life-changing for me flawless-to-me music score by Jerry Goldsmith)

    PLOT SPOILER!!!!! "THE OMEN"  (1976)

    "Damien! It's all for you!"

Yes, it's really sad he chose that path instead of starting an action committee, to actually begin to change things.
