What changes have you made because of inflation?

We were going to buy a new truck.  But have decided to wait.

I can't say that inflation has caused me to make many changes.  Fortunately, I am still working, so I can afford to buy what I need/want.  What I will tell you is that I refuse to pay $8.00+ for a brick of Philadelphia Cream Cheese in the little supermarket near my house when Walmart is charging $3.79.

I did my own nails day before yesterday.  An online video showed: if you make a mess of the polish getting it outside of the nail, it will come off in the shower.  Good information, it works. Saved $40.00. 

None so far this time. But during the 80's, I figured it was a good time to spend money instead of saving it, especially on big ticket items.

I let some of the air out of my air mattress.  (No sense in letting inflation keep me awake all night.)

Its made a difference to the way I speak - "Inflated English":
