Are you at a point in your life where it is a waste of money for you to go to a buffet restaurant?

The last one I went to was at our local casino. It was only ten dollars, but I couldn't eat very much.

The food is usually low quality, I'm not fond of a buffet.

COVID19 spelled the demise of most buffets in San Diego. A few reconfigured to other types of food service platforms or methods, but some shut down completely. One place has you sit at a table and select dishes from a checkmarked picture menu, then they run plates back and forth.

It‘s been over two years since I last had a true buffet experience.

They’ve long been cost ineffective, in my opinion, but prior to Covid, I went often. I’d eat my fill every time.

Yes, but nobody goes to them any more because they are too crowded. Jimmy Buffet owns a few. This post was edited by Element 99 at May 24, 2022 7:10 PM MDT

I am at a point in my life that I wonder why anyone would be obsessed with posting questions about buffet restaurants.
