Why? I haven't eaten crap like that in 50 years.

Starburst because every time you bite into them you get a burst of flavor. Cheers!

Reluctantly, Starburst. While I’m not a fan of either of the two choices, I have at least tolerated Starburst in the past. I won’t even touch Skittles; I find them vile. As a kid, I tried both specimens and absolutely despised Skittles, I see them as a cheap rip-off and supposed replacement for M&Ms. I think I tried them once and never again. With Starburst, they’re far too sugary and far too chewy, stick in your teeth, bleh. I ate them every now and then as a youngster.

Reading your question made me reflect that I haven’t had Starburst for years and years, maybe more than a decade. Overall when it comes to candy or candies, I’m more of a chocolate fanatic.

Neither and I believe I just read something about Skittles containing some carcinogenic ingredient.

Ten minutes after posting my answer, I heard a teaser on the morning radio program stating that something bad about Skittles has been discovered and will be discussed on their next news report. I will tune in to find out what it is.

    "Do Skittles have titanium dioxide?

Titanium dioxide — or TiO2 — is listed as an active ingredient in Skittles sold in the United States, although it has been removed from the candy's recipe in several European nations and banned in several other countries, according to the lawsuit.  2 hours ago"

That’s the information in the news report I heard, and that the lawsuit stems from the claim that even though the manufacturer agreed to stop using the additive altogether, it is still being found in recent lots of the candy.

I don't like either one, but if I had to choose, I  would not choose Starburst,  the favorite candy of would-be dictators.

Neither.  I hope all Skittles fans know about this lawsuit:  https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/skittles-lawsuit-claims-toxin-makes-it-unfit-for-human-consumption/ar-AAZIu9s

Maybe that has something to do with my dislike of them from the first and only time I ever tasted them decades ago. You know, this could mean something! I probably have a knack for this kind of thing, a gift! I should work in research as a taste-tester. Hey, wait . . .

      On second thought, never mind.
