    It was raised to 6% (from the previous 5%) back in 2008.

    State plus county is about 7.5%. There is no sales tax on groceries or clothing.

  • The federal VAT is 21%. The city has a 2% turnover tax. We also have sin taxes for alcohol, soda and tobacco.
