Let's see ------- My father-in-law had a lung removed. His son died of lung cancer. One of his daughters is fighting throat cancer. His nephew died of throat cancer. My aunt died of lung cancer. My grandfather died of throat cancer. My sister died of a heart attack while fighting lung cancer. I don't think I will start smoking anytime soon.

Yes. I have had  personal experience with smokers who got cancer too bh. So you totally understand where I"m coming from. If you have time please read my response to TAW. I outline my brother-in-law's suicide from the pain of cancer and his wife's death due to the COPD she  contracted because of living with him in a smoke-filled environment. She died a few years ago and the last year of her life she was hooked up to an oxygen machine 24/7. It is not the most delightful way to live one's life. The justification people give of smoking always floors me. SIGH. Thank you for your reply bh and Happy Election Day Tuesday 2016! :) This post was edited by RosieG at November 8, 2016 2:53 AM MST
