Biden undid the Trump eo that made insulin cheap.

So, Biden or his kids/brother likely on the payroll. This post was edited by my2cents at August 8, 2022 6:58 AM MDT

Before you make these sweeping condemnations, why don't you do some research and tell the whole story?  And what the heck does Biden's kids have to do with the price of drugs?

"CLAIM: President Joe Biden raised insulin prices after former President Donald Trump lowered them.

AP’S ASSESSMENT: Misleading. The president doesn’t set the price of drugs. The Biden administration repealed a narrow, Trump-era regulation that sought to lower the cost of insulin at federally funded health centers. The regulation was never implemented and experts say its impact was expected to be limited.

THE FACTS: Biden called for capping the cost of insulin during his State of the Union address.

Referring to a 13-year-old with diabetes who was present for the remarks, Biden said: “For Joshua, and for the 200,000 other young people with Type 1 diabetes, let’s cap the cost of insulin at $35 a month so everyone can afford it.”

From your post:The Biden administration repealed a narrow, Trump-era regulation that sought to lower the cost of insulin at federally funded health centers.

Biden's family have a long history of getting paid based on being related to Joe.  Hunter has money from Urkaine, China, Russia etc.
Joe brother and daughter have money from Iraq.

The only rule is make sure they get and give 10% for the Big Guy.

I have a sister that made a lot of money dealing drugs...I am not responsible. 10% for the big guy? Where did that come from?

Of course, you are not responsible for you sister's actions.  However, if you were getting a cut (10%) of her dealings then yes you would be just as guilty as she was.

"The Big Guy" is how Joe Biden was referred to in emails between Hunter and his business partners. And  Joe was supposed to get 10% of the income.

Was anything illegal done? Was that before he took office?

Technically, it is all legal.  That is part of the DC swamp.  Before the office of POTUS, yes,  not before VP or Senate offices.

From my post (which you clearly did not understand):

"The regulation was never implemented and experts say its impact was expected to be limited."

Do you only read the parts that prop up your incorrect belief?  Biden's kids have nothing to do with the cost of drugs.

Trump did sign the EO.  It did have an effect on Medicare Advantage plans. Many offered a co-pay of little to no co-pay at all for insulin.  I know because I help an older friend pick their Medicare Adv plan each year. They do not need insulin but I did see the plans being offered.

Biden did indeed eliminate that EO.  As for who is on the payroll, I assume Biden crime family as The Big Guy is who axed it.

They all do it.  Just as Paul Pelosi, Jr traveled with his Mom to Taiwan and the other Asian countries on her trip.  He was the getting that money for the family.  He also has ties to Ukraine oil company.  They keep that money flowing.  There is a reason career politicians are all rich and never want to retire.

As for who is on the payroll:

In the 2020 election cycle, Eli Lilly (the largest U.S. maker of insulin), through entities and members, gave US
$138,880 to Joe Biden vs. zero to Donald Trump. However, Senator Mitch McConnell got US $48,493, according to The Center for Responsive Politics.

Joe Manchin's daughter's company makes and sells most the epi-pens.

I didn't know what republican senators are on the payroll of insulin manufacturers so I Goggled it and got over 2 million results. Actually I read about the $35 insulin price cap that was rejected by the Republicans. $35 can be a lot of money to some people so you would think they would want to keep the cap in place then work together to get the cap down to $10 or so. My dog did. I remember the price going from $36 to $70 almost overnight. (He was an Independent. Or Libertarian.)

On average it's about $35 per vial but some people use 10 vials every month so that can be a lot of money for the average income. Cheers!
