A neighbor who complained loudly that he had way too many unregistered tildes has been declared missing and all of his tildes disappeared.

  Why do the police have ME sitting here in an interrogation room awaiting questioning? This is a waste of time; anyone who knows me can vouch that I have absolutely zero interest in tildes! They should be out there looking for the real perpetrator! Grrrrrrr.

    To the State Tilde Registration Department.  You must have a history of using tildes wisely, fill out a questionnaire, pass a background check and submit two personal literary references stating they know you to be a worthy user of tildes.
