      I try my best to steer clear of “entanglements” with Miss Conception. She has a way of expecting 216 payments in 30-day increments afterwards. Grrrrrrr.

    That they're rare. It's not believed that as many as two thirds of conceptions are mistaken for a heavier than usual period, as either the embryo fails to implant in the endometrium, or the endometrium starts to slough before the embryo reaches it. Successful pregnancies are the exception rather than the rule.
