Though I very much love my own brother, I think Howard would be a nice brother. I love both his music and lyrics. Always.
And two security guards at a Howard Jones concert I was attending pulled me out of the crowd, thinking I was Howard's brother, based only upon Howard's description of what his brother looked like. :)
Nope. I was waiting in line at the theater entrance with the crowd. The security guards came up to me, grabbed my elbow and quietly said, "Please come with us." After they took me into the theater, and way far away from places the public would be in the theater, and the guards were walking with me and casually talking to each other, I finally asked if I had done something wrong. They looked surprised and exclaimed, "Wait! You're not Howard's brother?" I said, "No." They quickly apologized and said, "We're so sorry. Howard said his brother was outside and wanted to come in the theater to see Howard but he didn't want any scene made. We asked Howard how would we know who his brother was if he didnt want a scene made. Howard told us to look for someone who looked just like him and dressed like him, and that'd be his brother."
I wasn't quick enough to ask to go see him. And I wasn't quick enough on my feet to lie and say, "Yup -- I was just kidding with you. I'm his brother. Let's go see him."
And they didn't offer to take me back. I didn't think of saying, "Can I meet him anyway?"
They escorted me back outside to the line of people. They were very nice to me through the whole thing, though. It's a fun, great memory for me, for sure. :)

That’s quite a meaningless question considering it comes from someone who only approves of questions that he would have posted himself and absolutely discounts any and all realms of thinking that never would have occurred to him.
