Any sighns of spring in your area?

We have lots of bulb flowers popping up and the foxgloves are staring to push out new leafs. I think I can also see buds starting on the alder trees. Cheers!

    No.  It’s definitely still winter but the high temperature is supposed to be above freezing this weekend.  Our trees won‘t start budding until late April.

    Spring?  Why, my paperwhites are still in bloom!  Plus they're forecasting more heavy snow along with very cold temperatures (hard freezes) for week 3 of this month.   Even so, shoots from daffodil, hyacinth and a few tulip bulbs are just starting to break through the surface of the soil all over my yard, there are 1/4" to 1/2" growth buds on my rose bushes (except the rock roses, they're still hibernating), and my chives are now 1/2" to 2" tall (pots and in garden).

    It seems like you are the only one that is bothered with my spelling typo - the other members answered the question. There is more to good written than spelling there is humor and creativity which I am full of. And I think that is what really bothers you about my writing.     Others are as well, but they know it’s pointless to tell you about it. And it was an error rooted in carelessness and lack of knowledge, not a typo.

    And good writing, which some of do effectively enough to get paid for it, comprises creativity, humor when appropriate, and correct syntax and spelling, but apparently not all of us are capable of simultaneously walking and chewing gum.     I love falling to sleep while being serenaded by frogs. I have started seeing a few insects flying around so their food source is out and waiting for them to wake up. Cheers!

    It is 8:27 AM here in my corner of the Big Apple and it is already 58 degrees.  We have had an unusually mild winter except for three or four extremely cold days a couple of weeks ago.  Not complaining at all.

    A few daffodils out. Buds just starting to appear on the two Honeyberry bushes. A frog croaking this evening.

    I've also seen one or two flies and moths about in recent weeks.

    Those in my back garden, but further afield the snowdrops are in bloom, while a couple of weeks ago I saw with a few hundred yards, a patch of snowdrops, a patch of daisies and some elder blossom all out; the last above another shrub still bearing its Autumnal fruit!
