If Trump goes to jail, does the Secret Service go with him?

    As far as I know, there's no process in place. But the Secret Service can hand off their duties to the prison warden or they. can have a presence in the prison. If it was anyone else, Congress would probably pass a law removing protection from convicted criminals.

    My guess is he would have his own shower and cell.  Perhaps even his own section of the jail.

    Hello my:

    It would have to be one or the other... Prisons are heavy on rules and I cannot imagine Trump obeying any of them..  That would put the jail guards, (who LOVE to inflict punishment), into direct conflict with the Secret Service, (who's job is to protect Trump FROM punishment)..

    It'll be good.. Bring some popcorn.

    Secret Service agents are law enforcement officers who have sworn to uphold the law. Not sure how this enters into this, but I thought would I put it out there. They, couldn't for example, keep him from getting arrested, but I imagine they could prevent the arresting officers from roughing him up.

    I would think any guard would be smart enough not to challenge the SS.  

    I think he would have his own section of the jail with only SS as guards.
