Read more carefully. He is talking about people who are too incompetent to realize...You don't have to be a politician to disagree with him and he is disrespecting the people he claims he wants to represent. I will acknowledge in advance that you will disagree, but as you know, your opinion is of no interest to me.
They are "too incompetent to realize " is directed at the politicians in DC. Voters do not have the power to be competent or incompetent with. We have no power to secure the border or require ID those actions require law makers to act.

Neither did His Royal Orangeness. "Secure the border" is a fallacy, with the number of illegals coming in by air and the "wall" being easily cut through as Nanoose pointed out.
It was 1000% better than what is going on at the border right now. It was more secure than it had ever been in my lifetime.
Better to have to "cut through" than just walk on in.....and if it was so easy to cross why do the open border politicians oppose it so much? I know Pelosi was very happy when CA wall was fixed.
People can try all they want but we are not rewriting history. Trump is
pro border security and took action to follow through.
