Of course not. You might consider being more selective about your news sources. Unless you’re just trying to stir the pot.

The woman is on the Denver city council and it is her proposal....that has nothing to do with the source or me stirring the pot.

It is exactly what she the council woman is proposing.

Did it pass? If not, what’s your point?

I do not think that is has been voted on....but she is proposing it.  That is my point.

But any nut can propose anything. Why specifically this?

Because it made the news and I heard about it. And this stupid stuff starts in the bigger cities and trickles down to the smaller towns, so we have to call it out and fight it before it gets down to us.

And tax revenue from larger cities and states also filters down to benefit smaller states and towns.

You want to give that up as well?

Not the topic, if you want to discuss federal tax money distribution ....start a question about it.
(My state does not receive more tax money than we pay in to the Feds...so your question does not apply to me)

The topic here is a local tax and it is. Not a benefit.

What’s the difference? Isn’t it the same non-story?

It is not a nonstory....it maybe a story you are not interested in but it is a relevant story.  This post was edited by my2cents at May 8, 2023 6:09 AM MDT

You made reference to as you insinuated someone's "news source" was defective or inadequate in some way.  While you may not be familiar with that particular one, I thought you might feel more comfortable with information from NBC.

There is no way for me to know if this information has been assimilated by the same news piece or not.

Looks like different sources with the same information. I have no idea what you all are so worked up about.

I don't know what you're talking about.  I am not worked up to any degree.

Then why did you go to such an extent to argue about it? This post was edited by Stu Spelling Bee at May 10, 2023 8:59 AM MDT

She was not arguing.   You said I needed different sources for news.  So she gave you a link to the same story from different news source.
