What is the speed limit and the weight or mass limit (if you know it) on the street on which you live?

Sometimes I dream I’m asking questions on here at night.  This is one of those dreamed up at night questions.

The rest of the dream made no sense because I was sitting in Cafe 80’s from Back to the Future Part II while asking this.  I was also having a strawberry milkshake with sliced bananas in it.  The Android robot was sitting next to me.  He was having an Oreo milkshake.

I know it was just a dream but I kind of feel guilty about being on my iPhone while sitting next to the Android mascot.

The general speed limit on NYC streets is 25 miles per hour.

Thirty-five mph.  The speed limit in the circle parking area is 5 mph, which is ignored; there is no way to enforce such a ridiculous posted limit.  I've never known a court to uphold a speed limit under 15 mph.  I saw one thrown out that was 8 mph in the parking area of a ball field.

its posted at 15 mph (due to the steep dip and sharp corners).  Of course, "speed limits" in california are merely suggestions.   Most people drive 35 mph to 45 mph; although some insist at going 55+ mph to try and get "air"  through the dip.  These idiots either end up in living room of the house at the top of the hill or into a nearby fence.

They fly and die while high and you will never find out why. There are just a certain percentage of idiots who always do that being usually under 25 years old I guess. This post was edited by CosmicWunderkind at May 13, 2023 11:15 PM MDT

Our street is posted at 30 mph. I don't know what the weight limit is, there's no sign with that info.

My street is not signed, but all roads leading into the town are, at the national standard 30mph for built-up areas. So unless otherwise signed individually, that is the limit on all roads within the town

(In some places, specific speed-limits, some 40mph but others 20mph, exist appropriately for particular stretches of road.)

Though really, in a narrow road with cars parked both sides, even though a one-way street, 30mph is too high for safety.

No maximum weight although it's not a street likely to see anything heavier than the refuse-collection lorry. I don't know the typical laden mass of one of those.

50kmph. It's a cul de sac with cars parked on both sides, so I rarely get up to 40.
    No posted weight limit.
