When a retail store closure prompts ridiculously low prices, have you ever taken advantage and bought like crazy?

If so, what type(s) of merchandise?

To be honest, the older I get, the less I purchase.  By the time you reach 77, you probably don't need any more furniture, towels, linens, other household items and once I retired, my wardrobe will likely last me until my demise (assuming I don't gain any more weight!).

To be honest, the older I get, the less I remember a sale I may have taken advantage of back in my twenties or thirties!!

Kmart.  We bought jewelry, toys, tools, some of the literal shelf and display racks.

    its an odd thing....

but it been years i invest into sealed and rare videogames...

They are a few companies out there that 'grade' videogames and seal them in a transparent container with a grade over it... the more closer to 100, the better the condition of the item is.

Anyways, at my first years, we could find really valuable old videogames on ebay ( still factory sealed ) , for like 20 to 60 canadian dollars each. and the conditions were epic.

Now those same games at now could sell for 1000$ each copy.
