Lol.  Nothing to do with word meanings...it just tastes bad.

Speak for yourself. Enchiladas or quesadillas without guac are unthinkable.

I always speak for myself.  And those are just gross.

I love my guac...or just plain avocado with a bit of salt.

Glad you enjoy them.  You will not have to worry about sharing them with me. :)

Amen.  We went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner last night and I had the chicken quesadilla.  Came with shredded lettuce, guacamole and a scoop of sour cream.  Took half of it home and had it for lunch today.  Loved it!

Maybe it's why some people like them.

I will not even taste avocado or guacamole.  I have bought them, peeled them, cut them to add to salad for a friend.  Like kiwi, I don't have to put in my mouth to know I don't like it.

Oh yeah, almost forgot to say that this post did give make me a chuckle.

You do not like them. So you say. Try them! Try them! And you may! Try them and you may, I say.

Sounds more like being too chicken to try something new rather than a genuine aversion. At least Randy D DID try Vegemite.

Avocados on their own don't have much flavor which is why they taste so good in guacamole.  They are very healthy for you, but a bit high in calories.
