Want to keep the mosquitos away?

To keep mosquitos from biting you take one tablespoon of red cider vinegar a day, it changes your smell.  I followed it by some honey to kill the taste.  Easier than spraying every time you leave the house.  Additionally Grapefruit, tomatoes, beans, lentils, raw garlic, mosquitoes will run in the opposite direction, of course the raw garlic will keep people away from you as well. :  )

    When I was younger mosquitos just passed by me and bit everyone else around.  Now that I'm older and my blood has aged like a fine wine, they like me, they really like me (to quote Sally Field.) :  )

    Just go places with my granddaughter and I - the mosquitoes will attack us and leave you alone.
    Two years ago I was at the St Kilda adventure playground with the family in the late afternoon - and as the sun kissed the water we were set upon by a squadron of marauding Messerschmitt 109s disguised as mosquitoes. We hastily gathered our possessions and sprinted for the cars, and Anna (then three) screamed, "Go away skeeters! F*** OFF!"
    I couldn't chew her out for cursing, I was laughing too hard. Only time I'd ever heard her say it, and it WAS appropriate. Poor little mite was all hives by the time we got home, I had to get some antihistamine cream for her. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at August 15, 2023 8:36 AM MDT
