With me, it's more like slowly dying.

Well, you simply realize truth.  We all begin the dying process around the age of 21.

Try to stay on top of things.  Have all your yearly check up's and tests, vaccinations (not the clot shot), have a colonoscopy, (very important).  For some reason many men tend to ignore symptoms and avoid the doctor, I think that's one reason why there are so many old women who are widows. We all have an expiration date, you are not alone but why rush it by not seeking medical attention no matter how small it may seem.

Well. We all know we are trapped, but, some people are trapped more.

You win because, you are the only one who recognized mentally and not physically getting killed

I was sitting in the passenger seat with my daughter driving, stopped at a red light. A 4×4 slammed into the back of the car, bounced off and collected a light pole, then hit the side of the car again - shattering the window and the dent in the side door actually hit me. I yelled at my daughter "just drive!" regardless of the traffic signal, as I was sure the driver of the other vehicle was actually going to kill us.
Turned out he'd had a stroke at the wheel. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at September 17, 2023 12:36 AM MDT

Wow, so glad you made it out of that one alive. Hope the other driver was eventually ok.
    A stroke is no joke.

I have been in a couple of close situations.  One car accident and one health scare. But no, I never thought I was going to die from either one.
