Do you want to thank Patsy Cline along with me?



Thank you, Patsy Cline.

Your voice often, often, brings my joyous literal physical chills and often tears of both happiness and sadness.
I enjoy everything I've ever heard of your singing.

This song, though, hands down, is my top favorite: 

"She's Got You"

    I'm not much of a country music fan - especially the older, more twangy songs.  I do have a Kenny Chesney CD called The road and the Radio, on which I like most of the songs.

    I find a lot of Cline's work not country. Even though I do like her country songs, too.
    I've not listened to Chesney's album

    I'd probably say that I'm not a huge country-music genre fan but Bobbie Gentry and Dwight Yoakam are WAY at the top of my music likes. :)

    Sometimes, when I catch a bit of the Country Music awards, there are a couple of groups that I enjoy listening to, but not as a genre.

    She is a life-long favorite.  I've heard two people who work in the music business say that if they had to choose the best voice they have ever heard it would be hers.  She was successful in both country and pop genres...one of the first to do that.

    So good, 
    I like the song you posted, too. I love the orchestra and voices backing her up, too.
    I enjoyed (if that's the word; I don't like thinking of her death) the "Sweet Dreams" movie. I like actress Jessica Lange and actor Ed Harris in anything, let alone a movie about Cline.
