The love you take is equal to the love you make. Agree or unagree?

Though I certainly respect them, I'm not a huge Beatles listener. And with all music in general,  I can miss a lot of lyrics, even in songs I really like.

Anyway, with love, my goal in my life has been to be loving to people, and to also recognize, accept and embrace the love offered to me.
Maybe that fits in there somewhere with song lyrics (I assume) of making and taking.
I haven't studied extensively researched my exact personal quota of each. :)

Very true, however, sometimes you just get tired of the misleading.

    It's just a song lyric.

would change the words a bit to; "The love you are given is equal to the love you give."

Wouldn't work with the syntax of the song.

How do you talk about syntax after using a word like unagree?

Just don't like the word "take" in the phrase.
