    This one never moved but when you leave and come back he will have.  I got rid of him when she left him with me at college time.

    It didn't say what strange animal, it said  the strangest animal. Since a cat is the only animal I  have kept in my home, that would have to be my answer.

    A huntsman spider. Huge but harmless to humans, sudden death to pests. Most people are afraid of them or put them outside,  but my brothers and I made a pet of one and we never had a problem with roaches, Alberta took care of them.
