      Would you believe that in many Spanish-speaking countries, the word “pinto”  is slang for a certain male appendage?  And the Chevy Nova, in Spanish, it means “does not go“. lol.

      Sales for the Nova were lower than average in some of those countries.  People had little trust and confidence in the performance.

    So much for truth in advertising.

    Funny story, but not true. As a Spanish-speaker, you know that the word nova has the same meaning and pronunciation in Spanish as it does in English.
