Do you have a preferred type of bread for making sandwiches?

White, wholemeal, mixed grain, sourdough? Maybe an exotic one like pumpernickel? Or doesn't it matter?

Rye with seeds is good, but that whole thing can get old really fast. However, my backup is Keiser Rolls. I've got a higher tolerance for that.

I like Arnold's 12 grain bread for deli meats and for Swiss cheese sandwiches.  For mild cheese, like American and for peanut butter and jelly, I like Sara Lee honey wheat.

My bread choices depend on the sandwich filling.

My favorite overall for a sandwich is sour dough bread, and regardless of the type bread I use, I want it toasted..100% of the time.
