Is this 3 more examples that Trump thinks he is king of the World?

In less than a week Trump has demanded that other countries start buying more oil from the US or face stiff tariffs. He has threatened to take back the Panama Canal. And he is now saying that the US owner ship of Greenland “is an absolute necessity”.

Soon Trump will be having weather reporters walking from town to town and saying – looks like reign. Cheers!

The idea about buying Greenland has come up many times over the last century even prior to Trump's proposals. It's a complicated subject, so I wouldn't count it as one of the three.

I thought the Greenland thing was just a Trump thing. But I thought it was because maybe he was fooled into thinking that Greenland was the green one when it was actually Iceland that was green (like the Vikings thing). Cheers!

Trump has withheld allocated military aid for the Ukraine – and maybe it was juat because the Ukraine president wouldn’t dig up dirt on the Biden’s.Trump has said he doesn't care what Russia does in the Ukraine and maybe that is because he wants Russia to win and owning Greenland is part of the plan.

Thought I would add one of my poems.

Tanks, planes and amphibious vehicles were sent into battle.

But politics, money and deception won the war.

    Cheers and happy Holidays!

Greenland is an autonomous Danish territory.  Why would they want to be purchased by the U.S.

The treaty was written up to say if they do not operate it properly the US can take control.  Megan McCain (who hates Trump) says Trump is correct about the Panama Cannal.  I think he should put her in charge of it. (Nothing else of course)

Let the people of Greenland vote an see what they want

Those countries are buying oil from Russia,  that is stupid. They are financing Russias military.

Not sure what you're saying about the treaty. I know the US can intervene if the canal does not remain neutral,  but other than that, I don't know know of any requirements to 'operate it properly '. Trump has objected to the fees, but I haven't seen numbers to support the fees or to prove they are too high. I would need to see a history of fees adjusted for inflation, an accounting of any infrastructure improvement costs since Panamatook control, and the impact of recent droughts on traffic and operating costs. As of now, the Panama Canal doesn't have a lot of competition, but Mexico is planning their own canal, which would change things.

The majority people of Greenland are in favor of independence from Denmark. I'm sure they feel the same about the US.

Panama has spent a lot of their money improving the canal (widening and deepening it). Lots of countries use the canal and I’m sure they all save more in fuel costs and time costs than the fee to use the canal. Also the lake that supplies the water to lift the ships is at an all time low. Which means they had to reduce the # of ships passing threw the canal which is effecting their income which might account for any fee incresses. Cheers

And I'm sure that the legal troubles and tax evasion accusations against the Trump Organization in Panama have absolutely no part in the canal issue.

I never knew Trump had legal troubles and tax evasion accusations in Panama. So this Panama thing could be another example of Trump using his presidency to help nobody but him self. Cheers and Happy Holidays!

A few days ago Trump said the US should seize control of the canal - then he added “no questions asked”. I wondered what he meant by no questions asked – now I think he meant no questions asked about his illegal activities. The awful part is Trump would rather see people hurt in Panama than pay his taxes. Cheers and Happy Holidays!

These are the countries buying Russian fuel.  Should we buy them, too?

What parameters does the treaty set forth to define whether or not the canal is being "operated properly?"

Trump made his pick for the US Ambassador to Panama today. And here is how he announced it on Truth Social.

I am pleased to announce that Kevin Marino Cabrera will serve as the United States Ambassador to the Republic of Panama, a Country that is ripping us off on the Panama Canal, far beyond their wildest dreams,”.
Today is Christmas day and he still had too announce it in a Grinchey way. Cheers!
