Are you starting to see any signs of Project 2025 lurking around the WH?

Yesterday Trump reinstated a policy to remove job protections from tens of thousands of government workers, a step toward possibly letting the White House revamp agencies by filling them with those politically aligned with Mr. Trump. That sounds like something out of the Project 2025 playbook. Cheers!

    What job protections? 

    Like if you want to work, you have to come to work...no more covid area remote work?  That is done.  And should be. 

    Almost all new administration remove appointees from the previous administration.  That is par for the course.  And Biden administration fought for that right in court and they won.   So now that right also applies to Republican administrations as well.

    Covid is not done – it is still out there. And now that Trump is in office his mismanagement and rhetoric could cause another epidemic. So having remote workers in place would be good. Remote working isn't just about Covid – it saves working families time and money. Cheers!

    Covid is done.   It is cold/flu.   If you have poor immune system,  take adequate precautions as with every cold/flu season. 

    But it is past time to get back to work in office. So production is assured.

    Well how about this then. Remote working is good for the environment. Less driving = less car exhaust. Seems like a win win win for the American people – they save time and money and help insure clean air for their children and their children's – children. Cheers!

    Remote work started long ago. I worked remotely from 2010 to 2015. The technology exists for office workers to collaborate even at a distance. As for productivity, we had a job to do and results to show. Slackers slack off in the office not just at home. There are some valid reasons to work in a shared location, but productivity isn't one of the main issues.

    I never knew any remote workers who took care of their kids on the job. That would not be good for the job or the kids.
