Can you believe the Trump administration wants to un-fire some nuclear safety workers but can’t figure out how to reach them?

“The termination letters for some NNSA probationary employees are being rescinded, but we do not have a good way to get in touch with those personnel.”
The individuals the letter refers to had been fired on Thursday and lost access to their federal government email accounts. NNSA, which is within the Department of Energy and oversees the nation's nuclear stockpile, cannot reach these employees directly ..."  They can't be reached because they lost access to their federal government email accounts and the government doesn't have their personal contact information.

These folks are responsible for our nuclear facilities.  So much for Musk and his department of efficiency.  Talk about a clusterfrack!

Maybe Trump’s new catchphrase will be – your un-fired.
He has been doing a lot of firing and it is looking like it is coming back to bite him. Cheers and happy weekend!

You two Nanoose. Sorry about the bum out. You'll get best answer three times in a row if you can name what this synopsis is from k?

Prejudices and hostility become more pronounced until the very vehicles that are meant to lead them to liberty, are engulfed by the flames of incarceration.

Yes. Like many others, I'm beyond being shocked or surprised by anything Trump says or does. Troubling times...for sure. This post was edited by Piper at February 17, 2025 11:25 AM MST

I wonder if all this blatant incompetence and chaos is designed to divert attention from their real objectives. I'm not sure exactly what they're up to, but the actions we can observe make no sense otherwise.

I don't know what their true objective is, but I'd take bets that it has some nefarious connection to separating taxpayers from their money.

Sounds like the employees did not keep their employee information updated.  Phone, address,  email.

That is not an employers fault.  I have former employees who I have no way to contact.  I have had W2 which I mailed to employees who moved from the address I had. How they filed taxes that year I don't know. (Not my problem)
