Have you heard that virtually every Tesla Cybertruck sold in the U.S. has been recalled?

"Blame the glue. In this recall of more than 46,000 Cybertrucks made from Nov. 13, 2023, to Feb. 27, 2024, a decorative trim piece called the cant rail is at issue. That stainless-steel exterior trim panel is attached with glue and fasteners, but Tesla said that the glue can turn brittle, causing the trim panel to detach while the truck is in motion."

A vehicle made to travel on roads, sometimes at high speeds, has been put together with glue and fasteners (would those fasteners be paper clips?).  Not only is that a hazard to the occupant(s) of the Cybertruck, but when that panel flies off, it could hit other vehicles on the road.  For this, one would pay between $80,000 and $100,000.

Yikes – I hope Musk didn’t use shoddy workmanship like that on the Space X rockets. Cheers!

OOPS-A-DAISY – looks like I am going to have to ask Trump for another rocket building contract.

Not only do Tesla owners have to worry about the thing catching fire for absolutely no reason, they now have to consider that it can literally fall apart at the seams. A modern day Trabant.

    Yes.
All car manufacturers have recalls for a variety of reasons.

But it is usually not virtually all of them getting recalled. Cheers!

    I really don't care. I don't own one.

I do know the terrorist acts being used against Tesla right now are increasing demand for them.

Not sure what sites you're getting your information from, but I think you need a reality check regarding the demand for Teslas.

"The automaker could use the boost. Recent data shows that the brand’s sales have seen major drops in markets around the world. According to the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA), Tesla sold just under 7,517 vehicles in Europe in January, half of what it sold in January the year prior."

    https://time.com/7266929/heres-how-teslas-sales-have-been-hit-around-the-world/

"In January 2025, Tesla sales dropped off a cliff across several key markets, significantly underperforming compared to the same period in 2024.

In California, a key market for the electric vehicle (EV) maker, nearly 12% fewer Teslas were registered in January 2025 versus a year previously.

Analysis by Electrek suggests that the company could be in even more trouble in Europe, where the EV intelligence company found that Tesla sales dropped in every market.

In the worst case, Tesla sold 75.4% fewer units in Spain than in January last year. Dramatic drops were also reported in France (63.4%), Sweden (46%), and the Netherlands (42.5%).

Now, as February’s numbers come in, it looks like Tesla has experienced another month of weak sales.

The latest data from Sweden shows that 42% fewer Teslas were registered in February compared to last year."

"A more decisive blow to Tesla’s near-term fortunes may be emanating from China itself. There, Tesla’s
shipments plunged 49% in February from a year earlier, to just 30,688 vehicles, according to official data cited by Bloomberg News. That’s the lowest monthly figure registered since July 2022 — amid the throes of Covid-19 — when it shipped just 28,217 EVs, Bloomberg said.

Registrations in Norway and Denmark each fell by 48%, while the French car body PFA confirmed Electrek’s findings, reporting a 45% decline in registrations over the first two months of the year."

On the Late Show Musk said that he wanted to colonize Mars for the good of humanity. So I thought I would add a vid of one of his ideas to help humanity here on Earth. Cheers!
