What would Jesus think about Trump’s Easter message?

"Happy Easter to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics who are fighting and scheming so hard to bring Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, the Mentally Insane, and well-known MS-13 Gang Members and Wife Beaters, back into our Country," he wrote. "Happy Easter also to the WEAK and INEFFECTIVE Judges and Law Enforcement Officials who are allowing this sinister attack on our Nation to continue, an attack so violent that it will never be forgotten!"

"Sleepy Joe Biden purposefully allowed Millions of CRIMINALS to enter our Country, totally unvetted and unchecked... He was, by far, our WORST and most Incompetent President, a man who had absolutely no idea what he was doing," he wrote. "But to him... and to all of the people who CHEATED in the 2020 Presidential Election in order to get this highly destructive Moron Elected, I wish you, with great love, sincerity, and affection, a very Happy Easter!!!"

I was just thinking that if Jesus was a lawyer instead of a carpenter – he would say that kind of Easter message will find you in contempt of court. Cheers and happy Easter!

    This was Trump's Resurrection Message.

This Holy Week, Melania and I join in prayer with Christians celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—the living Son of God who conquered death, freed us from sin, and unlocked the gates of Heaven for all of humanity.

Beginning with Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and culminating in the Paschal Triduum, which begins on Holy Thursday with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, followed by Good Friday, and reaching its pinnacle in the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night. This week is a time of reflection for Christians to memorialize Jesus’ crucifixion—and to prepare their hearts, minds, and souls for His miraculous Resurrection from the dead.

During this sacred week, we acknowledge that the glory of Easter Sunday cannot come without the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the cross.  In His final hours on Earth, Christ willingly endured excruciating pain, torture, and execution on the cross out of a deep and abiding love for all His creation.  Through His suffering, we have redemption.  Through His death, we are forgiven of our sins.  Through His Resurrection, we have hope of eternal life.  On Easter morning, the stone is rolled away, the tomb is empty, and light prevails over darkness—signaling that death does not have the final word.

This Holy Week, my Administration renews its promise to defend the Christian faith in our schools, military, workplaces, hospitals, and halls of government.  We will never waver in safeguarding the right to religious liberty, upholding the dignity of life, and protecting God in our public square.

As we focus on Christ’s redeeming sacrifice, we look to His love, humility, and obedience—even in life’s most difficult and uncertain moments.  This week, we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our beloved Nation.  We pray that America will remain a beacon of faith, hope, and freedom for the entire world, and we pray to achieve a future that reflects the truth, beauty, and goodness of Christ’s eternal kingdom in Heaven.

May God bless you and your family during this special time of year and may He continue to bless the United States of America.

And he also posted the message I included.
Wondering which one was his favorite.

One is a social media troll post...and the other was liked enough to be on the official WH site.

I looked around a bit and didn't find where the words posted in question have been declared a social media troll post.
His Resurrection Message certainly doesn't sound, to me, like his typical talking. The words in the posted question, with the all-caps letters and name-calling, does sound more like Mr. Trump to me.

The term "social internet troll post" is my description.  President Trump is a master at it and pushes the media's button all the time.  I am not claiming Trump did not post it.  He absolutely did. It is President Trump trolling. This post was edited by my2cents at April 21, 2025 6:47 PM MDT

Ok, thanks. I appreciate knowing you believe he wrote the words. I was looking for a troll admitting to the post or something like that.

However, for me, I find his words are then a blatant example of him behaving in a very non-professional manner. To me, it's unPresidential to post such essays.

If he disagrees so very much with so many people, I find it unnecessary and ineffective for him to then lower himself to similar behavior of which he accuses all the others.

For me, a President would stand above such behavior and words.
I'd believe him more if he'd quit such trolling.

(And I know I've said it before -- at any of my jobs, if I chose to use similar words and similar behaviors as his, I'd be fired.)

There is an old saying – a million monkeys could pound keys on a typewriter and eventually they would pound out a novel. And I believe that could be true. But I don’t believe a million Trump’s could pound keys on a typewriter and eventually pound out a 100% warm and compassionate holiday message. So I think he wrote the one I posted and one of his aids wrote the other one. Cheers!

The one that doesn't sound like an incompetent lunatic is the one written by AI.

How about defending the CONSTITUTION?  If he does, he won't have to worry abouit defending Christianity in schools because we have SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE.  Contrary to what some think, this is NOT a Christian nation.

It reads like a three-year-old throwing a tantrum, like everything else the orange manbaby posts. He's simply incapable of withholding the vitriolic bile that is always bubbling just under the surface, like the time he threw a reporter under a bus when she tossed him one of the most softball Dorothy Dixer's in press history.
