Not fake news at all to me.
I'd tell Karli Bonne that she missed the point -- from every article I just read, about six of them, Thompson won the award because the award givers agreed that news journalists/reporters failed to keep up on his decline, and Thompson had been focusing the decline. they wanted to acknowledge thompson's efforts.

I know that is what they are saying.  However, I have not found a single article from Thompson talking about Biden's mental decline BEFORE the debate with Trump.  (That was designed to remove Biden...this is why it was so early in the season)
There is one talking about special shoes for Biden to prevent tripping but that is not cognitive decline that is physical decline.

From what I can see this is more hype for his book with Jake Tapper about the media covering up Biden's issues.

(Thanks. Seeing the articles helped me to recall, yes, I had heard various reports on Biden's lapses/decline before the debate.)

Ok so he mentioned it a couple of months before the debate.  Thank you for the links.

Don't you think they should have gave the award to someone who has been reporting it for years before the debate?  I do.

    Possibly.
And maybe that's why Trump is ranting and refusing to let certain media/news around - - he fears they might report on his decline that we don't know about? :)

But, seriously, I didn't know Thompson and Tapper had a book coming out. Interesting.

They both wrote the book "Original Sin..." it comes out later this month.

They will report on Trump's "decline" regardless of what he does. :)

During a phone interview Trump was asked to expand on a comment he’d made about Harvard University. And Trump said - Well, I say this. We had riots in Harlem, in Harlem - and then he added that he got a lot of black votes. There never were riots in Harlem so Trump should be worried about his mental decline. Cheers!

If you read it in context, I think he misspoke 1 word...said riots but meant to say rallies or a rally in Harlem.
(It happens, Obama said he campaigned in all 52 states.)

    (On eliminating DEI)
"How do you justify these measures, and what message do they send to the marginalized communities in this country?” he said.

“We have a country that's based solely on merit now, and that's the way it is,” Trump replied.

“If somebody is out there doing a great job, and this includes getting into colleges if you've worked really hard … we don't look at race, we don't look at color, we don't look at height or shortness or weight."
Smith also asked Trump to respond to those who view his actions against Harvard University as an “attack on academic freedom rather than the defense of fairness.”

Trump responded: “Well, I say this. We had riots a rally  in Harlem, in Harlem, and frankly, if you look at what’s gone on, and people from Harlem went up and they protested, Stephen. And they protested very strongly against Harvard. They happened to be on my side.”

Trump claimed he “got a very high Black vote.” Eight of every ten Black voters supported Trump’s opponent Kamala Harris...

(20% of the black vote for a Republican I'd a lot)
