    I still kept thinking and came up with no answer.


    I researched a bit and did remember two books I admired:

    William Golding's "Lord of the Flies" (partly inspired by real survival events and his own experiences in World War II)

    William Peter Blatty's "The Exorcist" (based on a 1949 real exorcism of a young boy)
