Did Trump forget about the bad hombres thing?

It has been reported that the Trump administration has reportedly cut a deal with a former cartel boss in Mexico, with 17 family members being allowed to enter the United States. Cheers!

Maybe they didn’t pay Trump as much as he thought he was going to get. Maybe when they made the deal with Trump they told him they would give him 500,000 big ones. And they did give Trump 500,000 big ones – but they were Peso’s . Cheers!

One of the things that me wonder if this could be true is that El Chapo” is part of that cartel. Trump used to talk a lot about El Chapo – and sometimes it seemed like Trump even admired him. Cheers!

I read a few articles, but I'm not sure what the deal really is. It sounds like a plea deal, where the cartel members will become snitches, thus putting themselves and their families in danger. So coming to the US is in exchange for information (maybe- I'm not 100% sure).

But, they have been deporting people who came here to escape violence from the cartels without seeming too concerned. I don't know know how much useful information they will give us either. And what's to stop them from getting deported after they they talk? Do they know more than all the other cartel members we sent to El Salvador? I have questions.

I know that drug cartels have lots of money and if there was some corruption involved, I  would not be shocked.

I also won't be shocked if someone joins this discussion to explain how this is a brilliant move.

I'll be watching this to see how it develops.

You can bet pesos (lots of pesos) will be involved.  Can you buy Trump meme coins with pesos?

I'm sure there's a perectly sensible explanation for why this is a good idea.  Stay tuned ...
