Is Canada considering Trump’s Golden Dome offer the same way Mexico considered Trump’s wall offer?

Today Trump said that Canada will have to pay the US $61 billion to be part of his Golden Dome — but would pay nothing if it becomes part of the US. Trump claimed to have told Canada himself.

What Trump didn’t say was he can’t build all of his Golden Dome without Canada’s permission. For his dome to work he would have to build dish’s in Canada. So maybe in the same way Mexico paid for Trump’s wall – Canada will pay for his Dome.

Cheers!

I was thinking Canada should tell Trump the same thing he told the Ukrainian president – your not holding any cards.

Trump’s dome won’t work unless he puts satellite dishes in Canada. So maybe Canada should make Trump a counter offer and say – we will let you put dishes in Canada if you give us California and we will make it our 11th province. Cheers!

Good. Now all we have to do is get Trump to agree to follow Canada’s environmental protection laws before he puts any structures in Canada.

But that might be a deal breaker for Trump. Cheers!

California is running a big deficit, so it wouldn't benefit Canada to take it as another province.  I thought I read that Trump told Canada that if they didn't participate/pay for their share in the Golden Dome, he would up their tariff rates.  Well, now that the Court has ruled against him being able to raise tariffs on his own, Canada can just tell Trump where to put his Golden Dome.

l always thought California had a good economy so they paid lots of the tax’s. If that’s not so we don’t want it. Cheers!

I believe someone on here made that claim and someone who lives in California confirmed it.
