Did the truth about Trump and Epstein just come out?

Mike Johnson just claimed that Trump was a FBI spy and he was helping them gather information about Epstein.

And I am sure that will be their new BS story.

    James Bond had a guy that would make him secrete spy weapons. So if Trump was a spy he probably had a guy like that too – but Trump’s guy made him Roofies. Cheers and happy weekend!

    I said I already knew this.  It has been reported before....I have posted about it on this site.

    There was a Qanon theory circulating a while back, but nothing to back it up. I also recall MAGA claiming that Trump turned Epstein in, but the record shows that the investigation started when a parent of a victim filed a complaint. When Mike Johnson walked back his comment, I inferred that he was referencing the fact that one of the prosecutors said Trump had been helpful. I would like to mention that Trump had been given a subpoena to make a deposition under oath, and instead of giving sworn testimony, he called the prosecutor and talked to him. So, make of that what you will.

    I must be following the wrong news outlets because I don't recall hearing about any such FBI informant news.   Just as well - I've had my fill of conspiracy theories.

    I just read that Rep. Nancy  Mace repeated the tipster and informant claims as her rationale for standing with Trump  rather than the victims who moved her to tears. So, even though MAGA Mike said he misspoke there are clearly believers out there. I don't think it's impossible that Trump rated Epstein out, but he wouldn't have done it for nothing in return.

    I wouldn't use the words 'truth' and 'Trump ' in the same sentence.  In 2019, in an interview on ABC, he said unequivocally that he had never called the FBI in his whole life. I couldn't find a short clip to post here, but the entire interview is on YouTube. 

    Here is an article from 2019 about his history with the FBI. It's interesting that Trump cooperated with law enforcement to avoid prosecution in a sales tax evasion scheme.

    My assumption is that IF Trump called the FBI, there was something in it for himself. I don't see him doing anything to help the innocent victims.

    Just a helpful reminder how Trump had not yet taken complete control of the DOJ and FBI. IMO it's not relevant to his actions in his current term.

    Yes, not near as many RINOs in this 2nd administration.   We are getting more things done this time. 

    But no, Epstein would not be there. If he were still alive,  he would be in prison.  (Assuming the auto-pen did not give him a pardon)

    I see you missed the point of the meme, which is a commentary on Trump's cabinet choices. I have no intention of engaging in a silly discussion of what would or wouldn't have happened to Epstein.
